     The Franklin County Children's Task Force's Annual Make Tracks for Kids Walk-A-Thon was held in September.  This year there was a tie for the Outstanding Community Member award which is given to the team(s) with the most walkers.  The 2006 awards were given to Curves and Franklin Savings Bank. Some UMF college students had a 'paint-your-tee-shirt' night before the event. The walk began at the UMF Olsen  Student Center.  We truly appreciate all of the hard work and dedication of those in attendance, all those who volunteered and the sponsors of this wonderful event.  We hope to see you all at the Children's Festival in February.
